We Use the Following Brands
The nutrition you provide to your Bengal cat is of utmost importance if you want your pet to feel well and have a healthy life.
The Bengal cat and the domestic cat are an obligate carnivore at the base, witch means that their diet must contain meat. Feeding them with high protein food is very beneficial to them. To fully understand the diet of a Bengal cat, one must look to the side of his ancestor, the Asian leopard cat. The latter feeds mainly on meat (birds, lizards, insects and small rodents). Currently, most of the cat foods on the market contain less meat and more grain products such as corn, rice and soy. However, most Bengal cats have difficulty digesting these cereal products. It is therefore strongly recommended to feed them with high quality food without grains. At PATCH OF HEAVEN Bengals, we offer raw chicken minced to our little beasts. We only feed our Bengal kittens with raw minced chicken meat Daily . We add some cane food (about 20%) to our raw meat mix to make it more palatable. Bengal kittens love it, and their digestive system is doing fine. On the side of our adult Bengal cats, we give the brand "Hills or Royal Canine ", as well as high quality raw meat. Combining 2 quality foods is the best option for complete and optimal nutrition. The benefits will be felt by your Bengal cat throughout his life, and he is likely to live longer!
